  2. Prepare the manuscript using the applicable ACM publication template.
  3. Review the ACM publications policies and any applicable research-ethics requirements.
  4. Export your submission as PDF and review the rendered document carefully.
  5. Upload the files through the DocEng’27 submission portal (to be announced) before the confirmed deadline.

Submission Categories

For historical reference, DocEng’26 accepted full papers up to 10 pages, short papers up to 4 pages, and demonstrations as 2-page abstracts. These limits are not yet adopted for 2027.

LaTeX and Word Formatting

For recent editions, LaTeX submissions have used the acmart sigconf style, with a review option for review copies. ACM provides both LaTeX and Word guidance. Confirm which template options DocEng’27 will require before final submission.

Auxiliary and Supplemental Material

Materials such as videos, code, datasets, experimental protocols or demonstrations may support replicability. Consult the confirmed 2027 submission instructions for packaging and naming conventions before uploading these materials.

Reviewing and Publication

The conference is organised as a single-track symposium. Review model, anonymity requirements, publication policy and author-registration requirements for 2027 will be announced by the organising committee.
